My name is David Stoline. I’m currently a senior at the University of Maryland. I’m working on my major in Cell Biology and Genetics. I’ll probably go to med school, who knows though. I’m a big technophile which in English means geek/nerd. I’m a TKE. I’ve got a girlfriend, Zoe. I work in D.C. for a company called Protein Media, I’m a programmer there.

About this website:
So this is my blog… I’ll probably get around to blogging on this blog. I hate the word blog. This isn’t a blog. Rag.nu is random. I’ve had it for about 10 years and I don’t really plan on letting it go. I used to have a serious site here focusing on windows customization. I used to get pretty good traffic, that stopped. If you want to customize XP look into StyleXP. It is the best program out there. It does everything that I ever explained on my site.

About my stuff:
My main computer is a 3 year old 17′ hp pavilion zd7000. 2.8 GHZ 2 GB RAM XP Pro. Its kept up pretty well over the years. Though I kind of wish that Vista works on it.� I couldn’t use Aero so I got rid of it. I want to run Kubuntu on it but the second monitor won’t work right. I’ll probably hold off until 7.10 comes out. I’m planning on water cooling this thing at some point too.

My work computer is a 2 year old 12″ PowerBook G4 1 GHz 1.2 GB RAM OS X. I got this guy for $500 bucks. It was a steal. I’m glad I picked it up. It being so small its great to just carry around everywhere unlike the hp. Plus I just kind like Apple’s product better. It’s battery lasts for a solid three hours too which is always a perk.

I’ve also got a Dell Dimension 2350 which used to be Zoe’s. Its got Kubuntu, 250GB and runs MythTV, which is a PVR backend system its connected via KVM to the Samsung. The Frontend is an old broken Xbox that I modded with an Xecutor chip. All my systems are Synergy‘ed together, which makes my life a lot easier.

As I said the old Xbox has been modded. You’ve always got to have a N64 around for Cart, Smash, 007 or PD. The 360 is for Halo and Gears. I’m a fan of first person shooters. That isn’t my PS2, although I own one, I never really got into Playstation. I’ve only got God of War for it, which was fun.
